Advanced Image Search
As of October 20,2008, this form only allows you to search for public images. I will be updating the form in the next week or so to allow clients to search withing their private galleries as well. Use this form to search on a filename, the text in a caption, or keywords I have used to tag the files. Use the double quote character, ", around your input strings, for example "Jefferson Memorial" or "Swift River", to avoid matching the individual words.
Select whether to search for All the terms or Any of the search terms.
Selecting All will narrow your seach results, and selecting Any will broaden
the set of returned images.
For example searching for white tulip
with All will just return images with white tulips, but with Any you will get images
from the White Mountains, whitewater kayaking, and all sorts of tulips.
Searching for Keywords with Any is equivalent to the quick search
functionality.
You can also chose whether to search for combinations of file name, caption and keywords. The default search behavior is for look for Any picture that meets the criteria specified for the file name, keywords, or caption. You can also restrict the search to just those images that meet all of the criteria. |
