This gallery contains some of my more artistic photos that I have modified beyond the normal processing to balance highlights and shadows, or correcting color and contrast. I have used Photoshop techniques like the oil paint, posterize and accented edges filters, blending sharp and blurred copies of the photos, and other manipulations to achieve a new image that I hope offers a different take on the photo. I have also built some composite images such as the Bison and Hot Spring composite, which I should add to this gallery.
As you click on a thumbnail to look at the enlarged copy, you will be able to toggle back and forth between the modified and original photo.
This gallery does not contain images that were "manipulated" in camera, like multiple exposures or long exposure pans and zooms. You can find those, mostly, in the the Other Images gallery.

Navigation Tips
Here are some suggestions that I hope will improve your experience while looking at the galleries here at CathySummers.com.
- To see just the photos that I consider my better shots in a given gallery, use the filter form at the top of each gallery page and select a higher number in the "Stars / Rating" option.
- If you're using a desktop or laptop computer with a larger screen, click on the "+" sign at the top right corner of the thumbnail grid to expand the grid to the full width of the browser window.
- Select a smaller number in the images per row buttons at the bottom of the thumbnails to reduce the number of images per row, which allows each image to expand.
- If you have a fast internet connection, enter a large number in the images per page if you want to see all of the photos in the gallery without having to move back in forth between pages.
- In most of my fine art galleries, you can enter the keyword "horizontal" to see just photos in the landscape/horizontal orientation, or "vertical" or "square" to see images in those orientations.
- Click the small "X" in the top right corner to close this list, and the tips should be hidden throughout your browsing session.
