New Images

This gallery contains my newest images or images from my old transparencies that I have recently added to my digital library.

I am going to try to limit the New Images gallery to about 100 photos and only photos that I took or scanned or otherwise processed with the last two to three months. If you are trying to find a "recent" photo, perhaps from an older Facebook or Instagram posting or just one that you saw on a previous visit, you can try my image search page.

I have posted additional photos from my unfortunately truncated trip to the Grand Tetons and Yellowstone to the Tetons & Yellowstone, Spring 2024 and Autumn 2024 in the Tetons and Yellowstone galleries. I also point you to my Aurora 2024 gallery for photos from the wonderful views of the Northern Lights both here in the Mid-Atlantic and out west, and to the Eclipse 2024 gallery for my photos from the April 8th total solar eclipse.

Please also check my Birds and my Shenandoah National Park galleries for new photos that I have recently removed from this gallery, since I seem to be spending quite a bit of time these days taking photos of the birds at Huntley Meadows and other locations, and of course Shenandoah National Park is one of my favorite places and most frequent haunts.

Navigation Tips

Here are some suggestions that I hope will improve your experience while looking at the galleries here at CathySummers.com.

To see just the photos that I consider my better shots in a given gallery, use the filter form at the top of each gallery page and select a higher number in the "Stars / Rating" option.
If you're using a desktop or laptop computer with a larger screen, click on the "+" sign at the top right corner of the thumbnail grid to expand the grid to the full width of the browser window.
Select a smaller number in the images per row buttons at the bottom of the thumbnails to reduce the number of images per row, which allows each image to expand.
If you have a fast internet connection, enter a large number in the images per page if you want to see all of the photos in the gallery without having to move back in forth between pages.
In most of my fine art galleries, you can enter the keyword "horizontal" to see just photos in the landscape/horizontal orientation, or "vertical" or "square" to see images in those orientations.
Click the small "X" in the top right corner to close this list, and the tips should be hidden throughout your browsing session.
